Ashley Kitty Dye was a wee bitty kitty when found in a dumpster! He did everything right. He was a fine, furry, fluffy, friend for 15 good years. He is the only kitty we have had who would pat your cheeks for attention and once, when the patting didn't work, he pulled down my eyelid to see if I was in there. That worked. He had dropped from 14 lbs to 4.8 lbs. On August 4, 2010 he pushed other kitties away so he could get at the food tray. With a struggle and a push he could make it under closed doors. On August 5, 2010 at 12:12 AM he let go of life. We were both with him petting, stroking, and quietly telling him he had been an excellent kitty all of his 15 years. His last spontaneous movement was to lift his head, look at John, and put his paw on John's arm. He is sorely missed. He left two brothers and two sisters.
